Season's Greetings from Craftproducers With the holidays literally in our lap, we begin to look towards the new year and craft show season of 2013. Craftproducers currently has five opportunities for you plus two craft sections at the well-attended New England Home Show. New England Home Show Seaport World Trade Center, Boston, MA  February 22-24 New England Home Show Patriot Place, Foxboro, MA March 22-24 Shelburne Art and Craft Festival Shelburne Museum, Shelburne , VT July 26-28 Southern Vermont Art and Craft Festival Camelot Village, Bennington, VT August 2-4 Manchester Fall Art and Craft Festival Riley Rink Field, Manchester, VT October 4-6 Stowe Foliage Arts Festival Stowe Events Field, Stowe, VT October 11-13 Syracuse Holiday Crafts Spectacular New York State Fairgrounds, Syracuse, NY  December 6-8   Craftproducers has a long and successful history of producing events that are fun and easy to do and profitable for exhibitors. Despite four tough years with the economy, we are confident that shows will be bouncing back this coming year. We promise that we will work harder than ever to improve our shows. We are conducting serious soul searching to help us redefine what our shows are and how to market them more effectively.   To help us in this pursuit of excellence, we have enlisted an Advisory Board. They are: John DeAmicis, graphic artist; Chick D'Onofrio, leather designer; Celeste Friend, jeweler; Mary Ann Geis, potter; Jonathan Hart, photographer; and Dave Wallace, specialty food maker. When you see them at shows, talk to them about Craftproducers renewed energy and plans for the future.  We want you to be part of it. We believe in dialogue and realize that as a group, Exhibitors offer a wealth of knowledge and we wish to better use this immense resource.   For more information and to apply, visit www.craftproducers.com and go to the EXHIBITORS INFO section. You can apply online or print your application and mail it to us. Remember the first deadline is January 16, 2013. Many categories get filled on that day. If you are in a popular medium (jewelry, photography, and some specialty foods) it is really important to be on time.  If you apply before this date, there is no jury fee and you will be able to secure your request of perimeter or interior booth location.  As there are a limited number of corners in each show, it's first come first served.
